Blue corner notice against former prime minister’s grandson

This may bring defamation to the entire country, Interpol has issued a Blue Corner Notice against the grandson of former Prime Minister HD Deve Gowda. A special court for MPs and MLAs also issued an arrest warrant against JD(S) MP Prajwal Revanna in a sexual harassment case.

On Saturday, the court issued a warrant against 36-year-old Prajwal in the sexual harassment case. Blue Corner Notices are generally issued against criminals who have committed heinous crimes, asking other countries to inform them if they have any information about the criminal. By issuing a Red Corner Notice, other countries are asked to detain the culprit and then inform them.

Prajwal is accused of sexually harassing around 3,000 female employees and women and even taking videos of them. JD(S) had suspended Prajwal after the sex scandal came to light.

His father and Holenarasipura MLA HD Revanna is also an accused in the same case. She is also accused of kidnapping the house maid to hide the truth about her son and prevent the truth from coming out to the public.
Revanna, son of former Prime Minister HD Deve Gowda, is out on bail. She spent seven days in jail after four days in police custody on charges of kidnapping her house maid.

Three women have filed three cases of sexual harassment against Prajwal.

Surprisingly, Prajwal was also selected as the NDA’s Hassan Lok Sabha candidate.

Prajwal landed in trouble when several explicit videos of him allegedly sexually harassing women became public.

Subsequently, the Karnataka government formed a Special Investigation Team (SIT) following recommendations by State Women’s Commission Chairperson Nagalakshmi Choudhary to investigate Prajwal’s atrocities against women.
