LINDSAY Hubbard has revealed she told her mystery boyfriend she was pregnant with their first child just three months after they started dating.
The “Summer House” star revealed on Friday that she took a pregnancy test after her period was two weeks late and the result came back positive.
“It’s immediately and clearly displayed with the words ‘you’re pregnant,’ and as shocking as that was, having a really clear result helped take away the unknown. Those next steps are a little scary, but at least they’re easier because knowing one way or another what you’re dealing with,” she said told the people,
To confirm that she was, in fact, pregnant, Hubbard went to her obstetrician-gynecologist to have a blood test.
The 37-year-old reality star got the result while she was on a plane to her best friend’s wedding in Mexico. (Yvonne Najor) got married (mid-April in Punta Mita)
“My boyfriend wasn’t with me, so it was a little bit difficult. It’s not something you want to tell someone over a text message or a phone call, so I just told him everything the weekend before the wedding and told him when I got back,” she explained.
Hubbard admitted that the pregnancy was “a surprise and a shock at first because we weren’t trying or even planning,” but after some discussions, they realized “it was perfect for both of us.”
“We have a very loving, caring and healthy relationship. I finally feel like I’ve found my soulmate,” she said happily.
The former publicist has kept the identity of her mystery man a secret, but she told the magazine he’s a “doctor who works in biotech investing and prefers to stay out of the public eye.”
“He’s so excited to be a father and so proud to have a child with me. It means a lot to me to have someone like him. And yes, it does put a lot of pressure on a new relationship, but I think he’s the right guy because we’re so bonded and connected and communicate so effectively with each other that it doesn’t feel like work,” she said.
Hubbard announced her pregnancy on Thursday by posting photos of her baby bump on Instagram, including one of her boyfriend holding her belly from behind. (His face was not visible in the shot.)
“Trigger warning: this post has more fireworks than the 4th of July! We’re pregnant!!!!!” she captioned the post.
The next day, the Bravolebrity thanked her followers for their well-wishes and shared how “relieved and excited” she was to “finally be able to celebrate openly and with the world.”
“It has been so hard for me to keep my excitement hidden, and now that I am able to share my happiness and joy, I feel like a lighter weight has been lifted (although in reality I am gaining weight every day)!” she wrote on Friday.
“Our little one is getting so much love already! Thank you for all the lovely comments, love and support! We are really happy at the moment!”
Hubbard first met the father of her child in 2020, and they went on a few dates before they “respectfully” ended their relationship due to “bad timing.”
However, he contacted her again in December 2023 and she agreed to meet him in January.
Hubbard was previously engaged to her co-star Carl Radke, but she left him on camera in August 2023.
