Fans of “The Simpsons” love the show’s “predictions,” and the latest theory is about Vice President Kamala Harris’ future.
President Joe Biden announced Sunday that he was ending his bid for reelection amid heavy pressure from Democratic leaders who warned that his path to defeating former President Donald Trump in November has disappeared.
Biden immediately endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris as the Democratic nominee. Separate statements Harris responded that she was honored to have Biden’s support and that she “intends to earn and win this nomination.”
Following the historic bombshell, Al Jean, longtime writer and showrunner of “The Simpsons,” posted a viral side-by-side photo of the animated character Lisa from the Season 11 episode “Bart to the Future” when she became president, and Harris in 2021 when she was sworn in as the first female vice president of the United States.
“I’m proud to be a part of the @TheSimpsons prophecy,” Jean written on x sunday.

The comparison was widely discussed in 2021, as Lisa’s outfit in the episode included pearl earrings, a pearl necklace, and a purple blazer – similar to the one Harris wore to Biden’s swearing-in.
Fans of “The Simpsons” have long wondered whether the show predicted future historical events, including Trump’s 2016 election, the Jan. 6, 2021 riot at the U.S. Capitol and the death of Queen Elizabeth II.

However, the show’s creators have refuted the idea that it can predict the future.
