A man in Colorado literally survived a bullet wound thanks to his chain, according to police.
The victim was wearing a silver chain about 10 millimetres wide when he got into an argument with an armed man on Tuesday, according to police in Commerce City, on the outskirts of Denver.

The suspect opened fire, and the .22-caliber bullet got stuck in the chain instead of striking the victim’s neck, police said.
Police said the victim suffered only one puncture wound.
“We would say he literally dodged the bullet, but in fact he fired the shot,” police said.
“This is possibly the only reason the victim of yesterday’s shooting is still alive,” police said. “It’s unbelievable.”
The suspect, who has not been named, has been arrested and charged with attempted murder, police said.
