Prediction of match order at WWE Money in the Bank 2024

Predicting winners and losers is one thing. Money in the Bank 2024But how do you go about predicting the match order for this event?

money in the bank tonight (Saturday, July 6) from Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The event begins with a free countdown show at 5 p.m. ET, which runs for two hours on YouTube, WWE.com and a number of other social media outlets. This leads directly into the main card at 7 p.m. ET, which you can stream from a number of devices if you have a subscription to Peacock in the United States and the WWE Network elsewhere.

WWE has announced five different segments for the main card of this event. Here is my personal view on how important each of these five segments is, ranked from most important to least important.

  1. Damian Priest vs Seth Rollins
  2. Men’s Ladder Match
  3. Women’s Ladder Match
  4. Rhodes, Orton and Owens vs. The Bloodline
  5. Sami Zayn vs Braun Breaker

Main function

The men’s Money in the Bank ladder match doesn’t feature a group of top stars and former world champions, so it’s not suitable for a main event segment. That’s fine, because a title change is certainly likely when Damian Priest defends the World Heavyweight Championship against Seth Rollins, with the stipulation that Priest must leave Judgment Day if he loses. This title match is the main event of tonight’s card.

everything else

Two Money in the Bank ladder matches could be placed in the first four segments, so it makes sense to put one in Segment 1 and the other in Segment 4 to create maximum distance between them. I’d go with the men in the opening match, partly because Jey Uso’s entrance is super over and could be a great way to start the show.

The second reason is that Drew McIntyre has already said he will close tonight’s show by cashing in his Money in the Bank contract. If McIntyre makes good on his promise by winning the ladder match, he should do so early in the show so there is enough time to build anticipation for his guaranteed cash-in attempt (and a potential screwjob by CM Punk) during the show.

Since the men’s ladder match opens the show, that means the women’s match will take place in Segment 4.

I’ll then tackle the least important match as quickly as possible, putting Zayn in Segment 2 and The Bloodline in Segment 3.

Final Card

So here is my final prediction for the match order Money in the Bank 2024Plus bell-to-bell match time estimates:

Segment 1: Men’s Ladder Match (22 min)
Segment 2: Sami Zayn vs. Braun Breaker (12)
Volume 3: Rhodes, Orton & Owens vs. The Bloodline (20)
Section 4: Women’s Ladder Match (18)
Segment 5: Damian Priest vs. Seth Rollins (19)
